Tyyni 2017 oli ensimmäinen virallinen (PDGA ja SFL) kilpailusi. Mikä sai sinut ilmoittautumaan kisaan mukaan?
- Mielenkiintoinen ja iso kilpailu, paljon kavereitani oli mukana kisassa ja tietysti loistava pelaajapaketti.
Olitko käynyt epävirallisissa kilpailuissa ennen Tyyntä?
- Viikkokisoissa.
Mitä odotit eniten tapahtumalta?
- Aluksi pelaajapakettia, kisan edetessä pitkälle juuri sitä mitä tarjolla oli.
Pelasit amatööri 40v+ miehissä (MM1 / MA40), oliko tämä sopiva taso sinulle?
- Taso sarjassa oli hieman alhaisempi kuin odotin, koin että olisin voinut pelata haastavammassa sarjassa.
Miltä kisaaminen ja Tyyni tuntui ensikertalaisen mielestä?
- Tosi helpolta osallistua, vaikka alussa jännitti. Aivan mahtavalta!
Kävitkö oheistapahtumissa (esim 1. kierroksen kisat, burger & beer night jne)
- En ehtinyt, olisin halunnut osallistua.
Mikä oli tapahtuman paras juttu tai hetki?
- Palkintojen jakotilaisuus, holari sibben radalla.
Osallistumismaksu voi tuntua suurelta, mikä jäi omaksi fiilikseksi, saiko rahalle vastinetta?
- Pelaajapaketin ansiosta kisa tuntui ilmaiselta, myös jaossa olevat kiekot ja muu sälä olivat kivaa plussaa!
Mitä sanoisit harrastajalle, jolla ei ole vielä lisenssiä ja epäröi lähteä mukaan Tyyni -tapahtumaan kilpailemaan?
- Lopeta epäröinti, Tyyni oli erittäin antoisaa puuha.
Ja tärkein kysymys lopuksi, tuletko 2018 uudestaan?
- Aion olla napilla heti kun ilmo aukeaa! Menee hetkessä täyteen, jos merkit pitää paikkaansa. 2018 Tyyni vaikuttaa vielä mielenkiintoisemmaalta, kuin edellinen!

Tyyni 2017 was your first official Disc Golf competition. What made you decide to participate?
- Interesting and huge competition and a lots of my friends were participating. And of course the glorius players pack!
Did you played any unofficial events before Tyyni?
- Just weeklies.
What did you expect the most from the event?
- At first, only the players pack. After that just everything that came along.
You played in the amateur men 40+ years division (MM1 / MA40), was this a good choice for you?
- Competition was not even that high, I could have played in a higher division even that it was my first competition.
How did Tyyni and playing in an official competition looked like in a first timer’s view?
- It was really easy to participate, even that I was really afraid before the event. At the end, it felt awesome!
Did you visit any side-events like 1 round flex starts, burger & beer night etc?
- Did not have the time to participate on any of the side-events.
What was the single best thing in Tyyni?
- Award ceremony and my Ace on Sibbe course.
Entry fee might seem to be quite high, how did you feel about it? Got what you paid for?
- The players pack maked the whole competition feel like it was free of charge. All the discs and stuff in the pack was a huge plus.
What would you say to fellow disc golfer, who has not played officially yet, but is interested to come?
- Stop wondering and sign in. Tyyni is really interesting!
You already answered but still need to ask the most important question, will you register again for 2018 event?
- I will sign up on the moment when the registration opens! All the signs predict that the event will be full. 2018 event looks like even more interesting than last years!
